I highly recommend  The Lion Rouge. The professionalism and customer service from our first point of contact to finalising and fitting the windows is all of extremely high standard. Carl was very proactive on responding to emails and keeping me informed every step of the way, exceeding my expectations, going above and beyond.
 
I have further windows to be fitted in 2025, and shall already book Carl in, without any hesitation.

Carl came to our house over a period of 3 weekends. He was replacing old arched windows for new squares off ones.
His work is absolutely impeccable We worried as we had just had each room redecorated and thought taking out and putting in would damage the walls. Honestly you could not tell he had put new windows in. He did an excellent job, he is very considerate and cleaned everything after him. I would highly recommend Carl. Thank you so much

We have read all the other comments and can only confirm them to be absolutely spot on. Carl’s work ethic and attention to detail are second to none. The product range and quality are first class, the windows and doors we had fitted have transformed our house and made it much warmer and secure. To date we have placed a second order for his services and are planning another project later on in the year. Carl should run master classes for would be entrepreneurs, so far we haven’t met anyone who can match his standards

Carl supplied and fitted 3 entrance doors, 3 large double windows and a smaller bathroom window for us in December 2019. The quality of the doors and windows is superb and we have noticed a significant difference in the comfort of the house during the subsequent winter months. Almost as importantly, Carl proved to be a tremendously likeable and thoroughly professional craftsman who managed the measurement, supply and fitting of the units with reassuring competence. His work is of the very highest standard and we rate him amongst the best of the tradesmen that have ever worked for us in over 35 years. We intend to use Lion Rouge to fit a further four windows at our old farmhouse in the Charente and have no hesitation in recommending Lion Rouge, and Carl in particular, to anyone who values high quality products allied with excellent service and superb finishing.

Having lived with our new doors for a month, I just wanted to let you know how delighted we are with the quality and your service. They are a huge improvement on the original wooden ones, both visually and practically, but I am sure the real benefit will be in the winter. Once again, sorry we had to leave you alone all day to fit them, but a really first class job, especially coping with our ancient wonky walls!

I want to thank you ever so much for the information below. We were able to change the lock for my friend, with a replacement from BricoDepot easily with your guidance. Without going into detail, she is having problems with her family who have taken a key to her house, and she was potentially at risk of being locked out of her own home. She is on her own and has recently lost a source of income so money is tight for her, so she was absolutely delighted to be able to avoid having to call someone out.
At the same time, our front door that you fitted has been in for almost a year, and still looks as pristine as day one. It works as well as ever, and we have had no problem with the handles or locks. Needless to say we are very pleased, and will continue to recommend you to anyone needing a similar service

Excellent workmanship and extremely polite and friendly installer (Carl). Despite a slight hiccup from the factory, the work was completed to an very high standard and we are extremely pleased with the result. Noticed the difference from day 1.

I found Lion Rouge in “Living” magazine and was so glad that I did. Mr Hewson came at the time he said he would (rare in France) to measure up for a new door and some windows. They were fitted expertly and with no mess for me to clear up. I have noticed the difference in warmth in my kitchen already. An extremely professional service. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Hewson and Lion Rouge.

Mr Hewson was very competent. He came at the time designated for the first appointment to discuss the work and to give us an estimate. We received the official estimate later that evening by email. The work was carried out promptly and efficiently and everything was left in perfect order. The doors have made a significant difference to the warmth of the house.

The whole process with Lion Rouge has been highly professional and efficient. Carl arrived in less than 24 hrs to carry out the survey on our conservatory and bedroom windows. The quotation arrived via E.mail within 2 hrs. The Windows were installed exactly on time and to a high quality standard. Upon completion the areas where Carl had been working were spotless and the detailed finishing off was very impressive. The contract was completed at a very reasonable price for the level of product and workmanship provided. Lion Rouge will now receive the contract for the remainder of our windows/ doors. I would highly recommend, without hesitation, to use Lion Rouge for doors, windows, conservatories etc, etc.

We had Carl over in 2015 to replace a set of doors in our very old french house, and two windows. Professional to a T. Lovely guy, exceptionally friendly and easy going, but what a work horse. We were so impressed with his workmanship and reasonable costs that we got him back to replace the rest of the windows that we had considered leaving as they werent rotten, just old and draughty. His workmanship is second to none, and his attention to the detail of the finishing, really astounded me. He’s spot on. Our house has never looked so smart. What a massive improvement. Diligent, fair, hard working, and the neatest and tidiest artisan we have ever had work on our house. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Hes brilliant. We are selling our house, but he can rest assured once its sold, we will be getting him in again to replace windows on our next old house purchase. Reasonable costs, hard working, and brilliant workmanship. If you want new windows and doors, get this guy in. You wont regret it.

We used Lion Rouge to replace the windows and doors in our old farm house near Matha. I have worked in the construction industry for 36 years so Ido know what’s what, but Carl is something very rare. This man plus his workmanship his product and his honesty is shear brilliance, you will never find better so don’t bother looking I’ve done the leg work for you he really is a rare find, an honest gentleman who’s work you will not fault.
